International Drafts

International drafts offer credit union members an economical and reliable way to send money worldwide.

International drafts simplify sending money to relatives or paying bills abroad. An international draft is a less expensive alternative to wire transfers when the member has more flexibility in delivery time or when the member is unable to provide detailed beneficiary bank information.

A member purchasing an international draft will receive a check in the desired foreign currency within 48 hours. The check is drawn on an account in a major bank in the country to which the member is sending funds. The member can then send the check through the mail or by courier to the intended recipient.
