The Financial Management Institute (FMI) is a web-based continuing education series for credit union professionals seeking a deeper understanding of institutional finance. The program consists of five 1-hour sessions. Topics include: financial management principles, strategic planning, investments, asset/liability management, and core operating activity analysis.
FMI is a no-cost, web-based curriculum of credit union financial management. Attendees can advance their careers, become more aware of critical issues related to managing a financial institution, and better understand their own credit union activities and strategic performance. Participants attend the web-based program from the comfort of their own home or office, saving time and money.
The program consists of five sessions, each lasting one hour. Participants receive a Certificate of Accomplishment upon successful completion of the entire program. Sessions are free but class size is limited.
